Thank you for being here! We’re passionate about bringing value to where we live, and we love doing it with local, beautiful, sustainably harvested wood from our local communities. We’re hard at work providing a vertically integrated system that can do some real good ’round here!
How we got here
We’re construction carpenters by trade, but with all the growth in the construction industry, somewhere along the way, we found ourselves mourning the waste of good, beautiful wood that often happens with urban expansion. So, buffeted by the onset of cheap goods made in who-knows-where, whilst watching entire logs often be burned in piles in fields and construction sites alike, we decided to do something about it. We figure; it takes a long, long time for some of these majestic trees to reach the size they do, and just because they need to be removed to pave the way for growth doesn’t mean they can’t be used for other purposes, for generations to come.
What can we do for you?
If you so choose, you can select a log from our yard log, pick out the exact area you’d like your wood to come from, we’ll mill it on our own in-house sawmill, dry it to commercially viable standards, and create that item you’ve been dreaming of, for you or that special person on your gift list!
We have options!
If you don’t need the whole start-to-finish journey, but just a few stops along the way, we’ve got you covered there, too. We can provide sawmill services, or wood for your projects, or kiln drying services for your wood, or any combination of those!
Okay, we admit it, we’re a little on the wood hoarding side
We’re on our way to having, in our own facility, every species of wood that grows locally in Middle Tennessee, dried and ready for purchase. We don’t have them all yet, but we do have quite a few. Currently we’ve got, dried and ready; Walnut, Maple, Cherry, Hickory, Easter Cedar, Western Cedar, Poplar, White Oak, Sweet Gum, Magnolia, Hackberry, and Bradford Pear. We’ve got more in log form too, just waiting to be sawed and dried custom for you.
